Premier Li Keqiang said China is committed to inclusive growth and that employment is central to the success of this project in his keynote speech Tuesday at the opening of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions.

Better known as Summer Davos, the forum is held in China’s northeastern port city of Dalian in Liaoning province from June 27 to 29.

A mother and her three children have died after their 34-year-old babysitter intentionally set fire to the house in Hangzhou city, China's Zhejiang province on June 22. The mother and her three children had been rescued from the building but died shortly later in hospital. The oldest child was eleven and the youngest was six.
